About Lighthouse Beach
Lighthouse Beach is seven kilometres south of Port
Macquarie, and is a nine kilometre stretch of
south-east facing sand heading to Lake Cathie.
Lighthouse Beach faces almost due south, fully
exposing it to all waves from that direction
Lighthouse Beach is bordered by Sugarloaf Point
and Seal Rocks reef in the north and Treachery
Head in the south. It can be accessed either by
taking the short walk to Sugar Loaf Point
Lighthouse or by driving down towards Treachery.
This beach can also be accessed by 4WD.
Lighthouse Beach is a suburb of North Coast, New
South Wales and is about 305 kms north-northeast
of NSW's capital city of Sydney.
